The intention was to show the cultural diversity of Thailand: Rural landscape but also the loud and fast city life (Bangkok). Entirely filmed with the Canon EOS 650D (Rebel T4i) and a 18-135mm F/3.5-5.6 lens in daylight. For the night shots a Canon 50mm F/1.8 lens was used. This was an ultimate camera test to see how the camera performs under all kind of conditions. Moiré and aliasing are clearly visible in some shots as well as the rolling shutter effect. The image quality is only good when the camera isn't moving too fast. Clearly visible in the shots filmed from a scooter or the Tuk-Tuk in Bangkok. We used Adobe After Effects for color grading and used some of our own presets that you can download for free at: www.fenchel-janisch.com
