Samyang 500mm/f8 Reflex Mirror Lens (effective 1000mm/f4) on a Panasonic G2 using a micro 4/3 adapter. You lose auto focus and stabilization so a tripod is recommended but you can get away with it hand held if sunny (not like my shoot) or if you go into burst mode and pick the best looking one from a bunch of shots (what I did). ;D Get the free image editing software mentioned at www.gimp.org The flag at the end is 500m (half kilometer) away! 500mm/f8 is 1000mm/f4 on micro four-thirds (750mm/f5.3 on digital SLR) That's fixed depth of field, not aperture!
